ABOUT CHERYL

Born in Jamaica, Cheryl spent her early years in St James, then Kingston, before migrating to the United Kingdom to join her mother, Enid, and complete her schooling.

Cheryl later trained as a dietitian in Glasgow, Scotland.

After her training she worked in London as a Community Public Health Dietitian giving nutritional and dietetic advice to the various groups.

Cheryl was a memberof the Black and Ethnic Minorities Working Party under The London Food Commission.

She was also amember of The Professional Afro Asian Women’s Association whose aim was to teach and educate the Ethnic minority on healthy eating using their own Ethnic foods.

Cheryl was also a member of The Professional Dietetic Group who were working in The British Diabetic Association in producing Diabetic recipes and healthy eating habits booklets for the Ethnic minority Diabetics.
